How to Track Black Friday Influencer Sales and ROAS

Black Friday makes attribution harder. Shoppers see a creator Reel, then a retargeting ad, then search the brand name and use a sitewide code. Every channel claims the sale. A clean tracking set-up will not solve that perfectly, but it will stop you guessing.

Creator-specific codes

Give every creator a unique code. Codes capture people who buy later or on another device. Watch for codes leaking to coupon sites, and avoid running a stronger sitewide code that makes creator codes pointless.

Calculating ROAS properly

ROAS is tracked revenue divided by spend. For BFCM include creator fees, rights, product, management and ad spend in the spend figure, and consider margin after discount. A healthy-looking ROAS on a deep discount can still lose money.

Report tracked and estimated separately

Present tracked sales as fact and any uplift estimate (for example branded search or direct traffic growth) as an estimate with its method. Decision-makers trust reports that admit their limits.

The Bottom Line

Set tracking up before content goes live, not after. Influverse configures codes, UTMs and reporting as part of every BFCM campaign.

Frequently asked questions

Can you guarantee a ROAS?+

No responsible agency should guarantee ROAS without understanding margins, offer, site and media. Agree goals and measurement upfront instead.
